Operation and Maintenance

Wind turbines need to be continually serviced to perform consistently at their best.

Harsh weather conditions over the course of a turbine’s typical 20 year service life can reduce the overall performance of a site, resulting in a loss of earnings and a poorer return on your investment. All of our wind turbines come with at least a 5yr warranty providing they are serviced by ourselves annually.

P35-2 Service and Maintenance

Following Proven Energy going into receivership, VG Energy has been building relationships with the companies that supplied the various components to Proven Energy for the P35-2 wind turbines.  As a result of this we have now managed to source all parts that are required to maintain the P35-2 turbines.

In order to keep our customers’ turbine(s) maintained, we have set up a new workshop and have employed a number of former Proven Energy staff to allow us to assemble new parts.

Below is a spare’s price list of all of the parts that may be required during the maintenance of your wind turbine(s).  If replacement dampers are required, VG Energy is offering you £400 per set as a trade in value against the value of a new set of dampers and £75 per set of returned hinges.  It is expected that a standard service will cost between £400-£800 excluding parts. All prices listed in the price list exclude VAT, postage & packaging.
