TECHNOLOGY INSTALLED

3MW Heizomat Biomass Boilers and Dryers

THE PROJECT

With our long track record of supporting the farming industry and tailoring the most appropriate solution for client needs, our team were able to identify the ideal renewables option for Carnegies.

To meet their targets on reducing their fuel consumption and increasing their cost control, we recommended installation of a 3MW biomass boiler system and dryers. This energy option has opened up additional income streams for the business and increased its green credentials.

Carnegie’s reliance on oil has been significantly reduced and its carbon footprint slashed with its new technology able to run on multiple fuel types including woodchips, pellets, shavings, sawdust and rape straw.

“The VG Energy installation of a 3MW biomass boiler system will provide most of the heat for grain drying and the heat to dry all the wood chip.

The installation is of a very high standard in terms of engineering and installation, the attention to detail is very impressive.”
